Brandeis National Committee, Greater Washington DC Chapter invites you to Train Your Brain Day (aka Game Day)

Registration Fee: $40 Includes Continental Breakfast and Buffet Lunch
Any amount over $25 is a charitable contribution to Brandeis National Committee’s The Legacy of Louis: Inspiring Inquiry Campaign
Play Bridge, Canasta, Mah Jongg, Scrabble, Rummy Q or try a new game. Bring your friends, your partners, or just yourself.
Use the form from your Blast or flyer to let us know what you wish to play. Remember to bring a game, cards, or a Mah Jongg set and plan to have a relaxing fun filled time. PLEASE DO NOT BRING CARD SHUFFLERS.

COMMUNITY SERVICE: Just imagine that you are not able to go to school when you have your period because you have no menstrual supplies. Days for Girls is helping to meet this need by buying and making menstrual supplies for girls in Africa and other countries. Volunteers make holders for a sanitary napkin,which can be used over and over. Please bring these items to the March 2nd General Membership meeting.Things youcan donate to help meet the need: Light weight non-white washcloths (Target sells them in packages of 8) polyester thread, grosgrain ribbon-5/8 inches

COMMUNITY SERVICE
We will be collecting items to support Fisher House located in Bethesda. This foundation offers comfort homes where military and veteran’s families can stay at no cost while their loved ones are receiving treatment. We will be collecting: paper towels, paper napkins, zip lock food bags, foil, tissues.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
We will be donating to Comfort Cases. “A Comfort Case” is a small duffel bag or
backpack given to children entering foster care. The backpack is filled with items to use during the first few days in foster care as well as comfort items to help make the transition easier.
You can help meet this challenge by bringing any of the following items to the General
Membership meeting:
pajamas (sizes 2T to adult), stuffed animals, backpacks,
blankets (baby size or larger).
Please note: All items must be new.
