Welcome to the Phoenix chapter of the Brandeis National Committee! We are a highly active group of men and women from the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Sun City West, who are curious about our world and passionate about the values for which Brandeis University stands. We reflect Brandeis’ support of intellectualism, academic excellence, social justice, and community service, through fun activities provide for our members. Through various fundraising events and study groups throughout the year our chapter also proudly provides financial support to Brandeis University’s libraries, student scholarships, and scientific research. A main vehicle of all this support for the University and its values are study groups.
Study groups meet regularly throughout the year and are designed to be fun, educational, and thought provoking. They are a great way to spend time with friends or meet new people with mutual interests. Due to our chapter’s size we are able to provide a plethora of study group topics, ensuring there will be something of interest for everyone. In past years topics have included literature, current events, food, film, gold, hiking, ballet, art appreciation, theater, community service, yoga, and a men’s special interest group. We are always on the hunt for new and exciting ideas for future events or groups!
