Study groups, also known as Learning Opportunities, play a vital role in BNC Rancho Bernardo. They keep our members active and entertained, they are a great place to socialize and meet new friends, and most importantly they expose our members to new knowledge and experiences. In line with Brandeisian philosophy, BNC Rancho believes in lifelong learning and makes every effort to provide our members with the materials to achieve it. The chapter tries to accommodate for its members’ varying interests by offering study groups and one-time events across a wide range of topics. In past years these have included film, art, literature, healthy living, trips to local attractions, and current events.
The study groups meet regularly and are generally led by a BNC member. Some draw from materials compiled by Brandeis professors exclusively for BNC. Please click the link below to see a list of our study group offerings.
