In this revealing event, Parks will take us on the journey following the life of a creative genius through her new biography of George Merrick. Drawing on letters, scrapbooks, and documents, Parks weaves a tragic story of Merrick’s inspiration, drive, genius, vices, infidelities, and the legacy he left behind.
This event promises an in-depth look at the complicated mind of the man behind Coral Gables, and Miami as a whole, in a day of discussion and fun.
