BNC Northern Virginia Chapter
Welcome to the North Virginia (NoVa) chapter of the Brandeis National Committee!
The chapter is made up of men and women from the surrounding area that wish to support Brandeis University while learning and having fun. BNC NoVa members share Brandeis' values including a passion for learning and community outreach. Throughout the year, the chapter hosts many events and activities to raise money for Brandeis' libraries, scientific research, and student scholarships. The chapter also offers its members life-long learning opportunities, in addition to special events, to expand their knowledge and try out new experiences. Learning opportunities span a variety of topics including different genres of literature, law, film, genealogy and more.
The NoVa chapter publishes a bulletin that highlights upcoming events and provides its members with important event information and dates.

BNC History
The vision for Brandeis was realized in the aftermath of World War II when members of the American Jewish community came together to create a place of academic excellence for all who valued learning. At a time when institutions were barring top students due to quotas, Brandeis accepted students based on intellect above all other factors. Since 1948, Brandeis University has exceeded expectations and developed into a world renowned research university.
