Clean Air-Cool Planet: Applications for 2013 Climate Fellowship program. Due March 1
“CA-CP’s Climate Fellowships pair outstanding students with important projects that will propel the US toward a low-carbon future. Fellows spend 10 weeks during the summer working on meaningful, challenging projects at CA-CP and with our partners. In return, Fellows receive a stipend, as well as supervision, mentorship, and unique networking opportunities. 2013 Fellows will also join a growing group of nearly 50 CA-CP Climate Fellowship alumni, the vast majority of whom have remained in the environmental/energy fields. National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates– Geospatial Reseach and Mapping (GRAM), O’AHU, HI Application deadline march 1st 2013. Internship – Vermont Farm Viability Program, Montpelier, VT The Vermont Farm Viability Program is seeking a summer intern to conduct research and outreach, as well as other projects as they arise. Work would involve a combination of travel to farms and office time. Specific projects may include: site visits to enrolled farms & photographic documentation; writing case studies about participants; surveying participants for program evaluation; attending agricultural workshops and events; data analysis & database management; designing outreach materials Hours for this position are flexible: 20-40 hours a week for 8-12 weeks. Personal transportation will be necessary; mileage will be reimbursed. Unpaid; a stipend may be available to cover expenses. School-year internships also possible.
