Davis Peace Prize Winners head to Zimbabwe July 1st

Brandeis alumnae, Kayla Dinces and Lena Morrison will leave for Africa next week. Kayla and Lena were awarded the 2012 Davis Peace Prize for their innovative and life-changing project for women in Zimbabwe. Their project-entitled Engaging Hands and Minds: Empowerment through Peer Education in Zimbabwe-entails working in conjunction with the non-profit organization Coalition for Courage (C4C) and the Tsungirirai Orphan-Care Center in Norton,, Zimbabwe. We will keep you updated on their progress.
