The Heller School will be hosting a lecture with Dr. Hans-C Von Sponeck and Dr. Joy Gordon regarding the sanctions imposed by the United Nations on Iraq and its outcomes. National Cohesion in Insecure States: Experiences from Africa
From October 15th to the 19th, Michael Noureddine Kassa will be in residence as Brandeis as a Distinguished Visitor of the International Center for Ethic, Justice and Public Life. his Keynote Address will be on Thursday, October 18th, from 5:00 to 6:30 at the Rapaporte Treasure Hall at the Goldfarb Library. On September 21st at t 2pm in Geller Conference Room you are invited to hear Stefan Schindler’s lecture Trifecta from Hell: Despoliation, Proliferation, Klepto-Capitalism. A panel discussion following. Then, from 4-6pm, FREE BEN AND JERRY’S ICE CREAM, vegetarian snacks, Company B, WBRS Music, and other fun activities on Chapels Field.
2. Movie screening of Jai Bhim Comrade, followed by Q&A with Indian film maker, Anand Pawardhan. October 4th, 7-10pm in the SCC Theater–food will be provided!
