A Special Event: Nickolas Winton: The Power of Good

On Thursday, November 20, 2014 come see Nicholas Winton: The Power of Good the astonishing documentary film,  which follows the Kindertransport in 1938 of 669 children from Czechoslovakia to England. A humanitarian British gentleman, Sir Nicholas Winton who is 105 years old and still living in England, never told anyone for 50 years of the success of this Kindertransport. The children never knew who had saved them…until recently. It includes details of the rescue operation as well as of Sir Winton’s private life, views from some of his rescued children, and footage from events including his knighthood ceremony.
