The Book Group meets once a month to discuss a work of contemporary literary fiction. We love to read and talk about books!

CAST, BOLLI’s Creative Acting, Storytelling, and Theatre troupe, engages in improvisation, theatre, and storytelling games and exercises as well as working to develop individual, paired, and/or small group script-based performances.

Current Events Discussion Group features respectful and lively discussions that cover international, national, and local events of interest.

The Make a Difference Group responds to political emergencies and outrages, turning our personal political/policy passions into action plans

The Poetry Writing Workshop meets monthly to give writers of poetry, at all levels, an opportunity to share their work with others and receive constructive feedback.

Social Change Working Group brings speakers to BOLLI who cover the various social ills of our time and identify possibilities for meaningful and constructive response.

Waltham Matters provides a forum to discuss and explore the Waltham of both the past and present.

Writers Guild is a comfortable, supportive place for sharing original written work and getting helpful responses from peers. A writing prompt is provided in each week’s Bulletin.
