Brandeis welcomes Professor Zhuan Pei

The economics department would like to welcome Professor Zhuan Pei to Brandeis. Professor Pei received his Ph.D. from Princeton in 2012 and his undergraduate degree from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. His research specialties are labor economics and applied econometrics. He spent the previous year as a post-doc economist at the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research in Kalamazoo, Michigan, studying the effects and designs of welfare and employment programs as well as quasi-experimental methods in empirical economics. Professor Pei is currently teaching two sections of econometrics.
