About the Grant
Eizenstat Undergraduate Israel Travel grantees are Brandeis students awarded a competitive $2,500 grant to pursue academic or career interests in Israel for up to one academic year.
Grantees have used the grant to learn Hebrew, intern in social justice projects, NGOs, Israeli startups and science laboratories, conduct or participate in research projects, assist on archaeology digs, engage in professional training, or join academic programs such as Brandeis study abroad.
Ambassador Stuart Eizenstat generously endowed the Frances Taylor Eizenstat ’65 Undergraduate Israel Travel Grant Program to honor the memory of his wife, Frances, and her lifelong commitment to Israel, which began when Frances, during her undergraduate years, participated in Brandeis study abroad in Israel.
