Interlock Internship Blog #5

This location is located somewhere in East Boston and is named Studio 16. It’s a place with a  new huge crew and certainly new projects.

After working at this internship, I learned that social justice can be a very complex thing to work with, but so long as you have people to help you and the will to continue, you should get through it. When you can, try your best to feel comfortable relying on others to reach goals. If you can’t rely on them, it’ll make reaching your goals much harder. Completing tasks with a group is much more productive than trying on complete tasks on your own. After all, they says, “two heads are better than one.” Honestly, I wish I knew this a lot sooner.

If I had known this sooner, I would have been able to save much more time and would have been able to get through things with much less stress.

My advice would be to find a team and really believe in it. Once you’ve established a strong bond with people you can work with, tackling any problem becomes more possible. If you want to be successful, make a choice, and try your best to stick with it.
