Interviews (Story pitches)
- The first people I might be able to interview is Yujie Jiang. I probably interview her at this weekend in her apartment.Yujie graduated from Brandeis University this year with an honored Chemistry major. During school, she was a top student, and she was an undergraduate speaker of Chemistry department.
The primary reason why I want to interview her is that she is an important person in my college life. Specifically, she is a kind of person forever with a determined goal and self-disciplined life habits. People see her honors, her presentations and her top GPA, however, the most important thing for me is that her spirit gives me power. She always talks with me about one topic which is “helping others”. She likes to wonder “how should I help one?” This question is always encouraging me and I might ask “What does make you such a real and nice person? Do you have any pity during your college life?”
Furthermore, she is working at the hospital and going to apply for medical schools. I am really interested her pursuit in the medical career. She is preparing essays now and she is trying to understand how could a doctor save patients instead of treating patients only. Thus, I will ask her “In fact, in your opinion, science is not whole meaning of medical career. What will you pursue in the medical career?”The second people I want to interview is Daniel Mooney. I probably interview him on next Wednesday before his production class.
2. The second people I want to interview is Daniel Mooney. I probably interview him on next Wednesday before his production class.
He was my instructor for both film production and motion picture editing classes. I was not a super talented and skilled student for film production or editing, however, Mr. Mooney was the person who always encourages me and inspires me. Thus, I insist working on my film major and film production interest, and because of him, I made progress in editing footages.
I am always wondering what is the difference for Mr. Mooney between teaching students how to edit films and editing films himself? Did both give you a sense of pleasure and satisfactory?
Besides, I want to ask him how do you feel as an editor and producer? Since editing and producing films are two mysterious jobs but with extreme attractiveness for me.
