Archived Ad: Seeking Environmental Career Advice

I am graduating in 2017 with a B.S./ M.S. in biochemistry and minors in classics and chemistry. I perform biochemistry/ biophysics research in the Professor Dorothee Kern’s lab. I discovered my interest in an environmental career recently, after taking an introductory environmental chemistry course. Besides the class, I have no experience with environmental studies, and I don’t know anything about the environmental job sector. What jobs are available in this area for scientists with a background in biochemistry or chemistry? Although I find green chemistry and waste/drinking water treatment particularly engaging, I am open to all environmental careers. I would be grateful for advice and insights about your experience!
