My name is Shoshana Goldberg and I graduated from Brandeis last May with a degree in sociology and minor in religious studies. I recently moved to Jerusalem where I am in the process of searching for a job. I am writing to connect with Brandeis alumni to meet for informational interviews to help me with my job search in the Jerusalem area. I am looking to pursue a career in social work or rehabilitative occupational therapy. For now, I hope to find a job where I can gain exposure to those fields as well as work directly with people. I am interested in working with individuals with special needs of all kinds, as well as with advancing women’s rights and democracy in Israel. I am also interested in part time work as a translator, editor or English freelance writer. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I just recently discovered occupational therapy as a career path and am intrigued about getting a chance to channel my creativity while integrating children back into their communities and social spheres. I am interested in shadowing an occupational therapist who works with children in any setting this summer and learning more about the field and the kinds of skill sets and commitment it requires.
