Hello, my name is Rebecca Miller and I’m looking to explore careers relating to science policy/ communications. I have volunteered with environmental groups and have some experience lobbying for a health education initiative. I really enjoy learning about various scientific concepts and then using that knowledge to determine logical solutions to societal problems. I have considered looking into bioethics/ public policy Masters programs post-Brandeis, but was wondering if there might be alumni who have similar interests and might be willing to clue me into the types of career paths available or give advice on what might be the most useful educational or work experiences. I am unsure of whether it is more logical to focus on the sciences or on the legal/ethical aspects of policy as an undergrad, and would also love to hear about the paths others have taken. Thank you so much for your help!
